Common questions
- How do I report an IT problem to Common Good Labs?
- Fill in the form on this page, or call (226) 779-4828. Existing managed-IT clients have their own direct support link, which tags the request to their business automatically — ask us for yours if you don't have it pinned to your desktop.
- Do I need an account or password to get help?
- No. The support form is deliberately open — the moment you need help most is the moment you're least likely to be able to log in to anything. Just tell us your name and how to reach you.
- How quickly will someone respond?
- We're at the desk Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm Eastern. Anything flagged as urgent — a system down, a lockout, or a suspected security problem — is picked up first. Everything else gets a reply the same or the next working day.
- Do you come on site, or is it all remote?
- Both. A lot of problems are solved faster remotely, but hardware, printers, cabling, and server work need hands on the machine. We cover St. Marys, Stratford, and the surrounding Perth County area in person.
- What should I include when I report a problem?
- What you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead — plus the exact wording of any error message. Which computer or device it is, and where it is in the building, saves us a phone call.
